Welcome to the Contraband Corvette Club
Do you want to enjoy the company of others who like to show and drive their Corvettes?
The Contraband Corvette Club is a very active club whose members participate in cruises, car shows, trips, local charity events, parades, and many other events throughout the year in our own backyard and around the Gulf South, all involving our Corvettes.
The Contraband Corvette Club is an organization dedicated to Corvette owners and enthusiasts of every model year from over Southwest Louisiana. We are one of the friendliest Corvette clubs around and have been active in the Lake Charles area for over 43 years. We have plenty of members who share a wealth of knowledge and pride in their cars. The social and community activity of the club is very important to us and we try to attend most of the shows, cruises and car events in the area.
Our club's purpose is to promote the enjoyment of all aspects of Corvette automobile ownership through social activities, encouragement of preservation and operation of Corvettes.
Our general club meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month at various locations. Guests are always welcome!
Contraband Corvette Club donates supplies to assist flood victims in Baton Rouge.
Thanks to all members who donated much needed supplies to our neighbors in Baton Rouge and Lafayette. Special thanks to Craig, Barbara & Shon Young for getting the supplies together and delivered.

Museum of the Gulf Coast Cruise - Pt. Arthur TX
Nineteen members cruised the Creole Nature Trail across the Sabine Pass to visit the Museum of the Gulf Coast. The weather did not deter us from passing a good time. The museum was very interesting as we all came away with learning something new about our history in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana. After our tour of the museum we cruised to Larry's French Market in Groves for a wonderful dinner along with live entertainment. Click on photo album to view pictures of the cruise.
2016 Corvette Invasion - Austin TX
Five members and spouses attended the "Corvette Invasion" event held at the Circuit of the Americas race track in Austin, Texas the weekend of July 23rd. We cruised up with the Baton Rouge and Tri-City Beaumont clubs on the Thursday before the event. On Friday, thirty plus Corvettes made a Hill Country cruise to Marble Falls to eat at the famous Blue Bonnet Café. Saturday there were over 500 Corvettes participating in the show. The weather was great but a little warm as Austin set a record high for the year of 102 degrees!!!. On Sunday morning before we departed, all who entered the show were able to take two laps on the Circuit of the Americas race track in our Corvettes! What a great time we all had.
